Finding Your Facebook Relevancy Score

How to Find Your Facebook Ad's Relevancy Score

Once you've launched your Facebook ad campaign, you should monitor the campaign periodically to ensure the ad continues to drive results. The most obvious metric of success is, of course, how many customers you are acquiring.

However, there are other indicators of success that you can look at as well:

  • Number of clicks and/or video views (You want this to be high!)
  • Number of engagements, such as likes, shares or comments (You want this to be high too; that means people find your content valuable enough to interact with it.)
  • Cost per click (You want this to be low; that means you get to pay less for more people to see your ad.)
  • Ad relevancy score

Your Facebook ad's relevancy score is the score on a scale of 1-10 that Facebook gives your ad based on how well it pertains to your audience. The higher the number, the more applicable your ad is, and the better it will perform in the Facebook algorithm.
